The ghost of his father tells Hamlet to take revenge for murdering him. But Hamlet becomes sure about who killed his father. King Claudius and Queen Gertrude appoint Hamlet’s two friends, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, to find out the reason for his abnormal behavior. They always follow Hamlet. Some actors come to the castle. Hamlet plans to have them perform a play to test Claudius’s guilt. Hamlet organizes a play based on the story of his father’s death.

Hamlet said the actors to perform a play based on the murder of King Hamlet. Hamlet said

“The play is a thing where I will catch the conscience of the king.”

In the play, a man kills his brother, takes his position, and marries the dead man’s wife. The story is very similar to what happened to Hamlet’s father. While watching the play, Claudius becomes extremely disturbed. He suddenly stops the performance and leaves.
